Very Simple Bus Project

We found that all existing middleware and ESB solution that are on the market are far too complicated for certain applications and customer groups. Especially the wrapping of isolated legacy applications and laboratory software based on PC seem to be out of the focus of traditional middleware.

Our idea is to build a set of simple ESB functions for major frameworks like ABAP, Java and .NET that can be deployed in a minute and without much effort. These objects are designed in a way that their calling interface are analogous on all frameworks. In addition these objects can be coupled into a wider more intelligent webwork that can synchronous message automatically and transparently between each other.

Why another ESB?

Because most ESB implementations are too complicated. Too complicated to install, too complicated to use, too complicated to maintain and service.

These solutions are all based on a common assumption: that speed for mass data processing are the relevant and striking factor. In many areas this is not the case. Agility and simplicity are far more important.

One of the blocking factors of a SOA introduction is the utmost awkwardness of the implementation. Whatever SOA package you choose, it can take weeks to install it and get it up and running. Using the ttols to integrate anything are typically all but clear.
